Heroic Transformation - Art and Narrative therapy
Through this gentle yet liberating process we find the courage to heal, become aware of our own power and the commitment to take responsibility for inner transformation.
A personal journey which strengthens and uncovers the Heroic qualities within each individual.

- Befriends and empowers the internal saboteur.
- Transforms setbacks by finding the gift of the lesson concealed there- in.
- Allows a strong vision of the future to emerge
- Adults or Youth are led through a series of art exercises and autobiographical storytelling designed to build resilience and to develop mastery over specific problems and feelings in their lives.
- This interactive group process teaches more about the person’s inner world and everyday life but goes beyond assessment.
- Hero Booking is therapeutic interview as well as art and narrative therapy.
- Taken separately, each exercise has its own specific agenda, which includes elements of history taking, making expressive art or re-authoring of a life story. Strung together, the last of these predominates.
- A group and facilitators enter strongly into the process story as friendly editors and supportive co-authors.
- The process is based in the direction of finding heroes, survivors, master problem solvers and victors rather than victims.
Team Building
The Hero Book can also be utilized as an innovative team building venture in the corporate and NGO sectors. A journey to the inner self within a sharing supportive structure, allows bonding in an environment of common respect and understanding.
To value each other we must affirm each others feelings, the nice ones and the nasty. We can acknowledge each others feelings even when we might argue with the assumptions upon which they are based or the actions that spring from them. To liberate ourselves we must challenge the internal censor and find the voice that will let us express the power that comes from within.
The decision making structure of the groups we create, express the value placed on each member. Groups that use consensus process make a powerful statement of value. Reciprocity assures a sustainable system in which the energy going out of the system is balanced by the energy coming in, and in which resources are preserved or augmented, not diminished. When we realize that everything is interconnected, nothing is wasted.
The Heroic Transformation process includes the work of; Jonathan Morgan, Psycho Neuro Immunology Technologies International and Claire Barry

Soaring to become The Rose
Art and Narrative Therapy – group or individual
Step by step our own power and transformation renews the life force within the seed which becomes The Rose. Our inner and outer worlds merge soaring to embrace the freedom to speak the truth that arises in us.
Participants work through each concept the poem brings, relating them to their own Life Narrative. Each concept is thoroughly explored and made sense of. Once the hurt is defused, the positive aspects of the concepts ignite and grow to glow within each person.
The Rose
Some say love, it is a river
that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
an endless aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
and you its only seed.
It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance.
It's the dream afraid of waking
that never takes the chance.
It's the one who won't be taken,
who cannot seem to give,
and the soul afraid of dyin’
that never learns to live.
Just remember that in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that
with the suns love
in the spring,
becomes The Rose.
